BankCard Services Worldwide, a technology company with a focus on the payments industry, announced today that it has changed its company name to Persolvent™. The change, which takes effect immediately, more accurately represents the company’s commitment to advancing technology-driven payment solutions.

“The launch of our new brand identity is an important milestone that speaks to who we are as a company today and better aligns with our core values of honesty, integrity, excellence, customer-focus, passion and professionalism,” said Jay Bruber, CEO of Persolvent. He noted the company’s ownership and structure remain unchanged.

The name Persolvent, inspired by a Latin word meaning “to pay,” was chosen because of its relevance to payments and the company’s mission. “We sought a bold and contemporary look which aligns with our mission of making life easier for our customers and partners,” said Julie Bruber, president of Persolvent. “By emphasizing the word ‘solve’ in our new logo, we affirm our team’s dedication to providing payment solutions that help our customers and partners succeed.”

The company collaborated with Periscope, a Minneapolis-based advertising agency, to design the logo and refresh the brand image.

Founded in 1993, the company was one of the first to offer payment processing for Internet-based businesses. Today it is recognized for award-winning integrated payment software solutions, such as ClientPay®, a payment processing solution used by some of the largest law firms in the country, and a fee management platform currently being used in more than 13,000 K-12 schools in the United States. Persolvent also provides white-label integrated merchant account services for ecommerce website development companies, in addition payment solutions for a wide variety of professional service and government entities.
