The Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) has named BankCard Services Worldwide (BCSW), TIES and Arux Software, as a finalist in the Collaboration for Community Impact category for the 2014 Tekne Awards which honors Minnesota companies and individuals who have shown superior technology innovation and leadership.

This honor acknowledges BCSW, TIES and Arux Software for their public-private collaborative effort in developing the FeePay™ Comprehensive Fee Management System.

Patent-pending FeePay is the only solution that manages community education, pre-K and school-age child care registrations and payments, in addition to meals, transportation, activities and other school-related activities and fees. It provides a “one-stop shopping” experience where parents or guardians can use one family login to pay school fees, add money to meal accounts, register for activities or complete required forms for multiple children attending different schools within the district. Each activity or service is added to a shopping cart for checkout, providing families with the convenience and security of making a single payment for a wide variety of expenses.

Presented by the MHTA, the Tekne Awards annually recognize Minnesota’s best and brightest technology users and developers in innovation, development, education, commercialization and management. Specifically, the Collaboration for Community Impact category acknowledges a collaboration or partnership that demonstrates leadership, dedication and excellence in delivering an innovation to Minnesota while meeting an unmet community need. A full list of finalists is available online at http://www.tekneawards.org.

Recipients of the 2014 Tekne Awards will be announced at the award ceremony held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on November 13, 2014.
